Question

I need one student's address for mailing and another one for bus pick up. Does the system know to pick up only the mailing address for mailings and the primary address for transportation?

Like written already multiple times in the posting to set an address for transportation just add a new address with type Trans.

This address will be used in the bus route module.

I don't have Trans in my drop down menu.  Do I add that in Administration?

You can type it in directly or add it in admin Address Type.
