A good program to use is Nutrikids, I've been using it for the past 3 years and its fantastic!!

once the menu is in the system it gives you reports on whatever it is you need.

on a side note on Meal service

For taking the attendance at point of service JL had created a very nice point of service attendance system for us where each student punches in a 4 digit code and it shows a picture of the student, and if he is authorized or not , and also it gives you a Talley how many meals were served per meal per division per day.

and for pre school classes where the kids cant punch in numbers yet the system scans the bar codes of the attendance sheets the teacher marked .

a wonderful system that make life easier.
