Can I add payments to a deposit after it was created?

I missed one check when creating a deposit and would like to add it to the existing deposit. Is this possible?

add that deposit number by the payment in account

remember to adjust the deposit amount by deposits otherwise it will be red, and if you already sent deposits to QuickBooks you'll need to update QB manually

Do I also need to enter the deposit date? It does not allow me to edit that field.

no, deposit date is the date the deposit was made

if the deposit date is different it would be in its own deposit
