Please switch error message to allow us to go back and select a child without having to shut down

Question

If we go to the Classes Tab when there is no child selected, we get the attached error message. The only way to get rid of it is to shut down – and we get many error messages before being able to shut down. This has been happening quite a bit. Please switch the error message to allow us to go back and select a child without having to shut down.

Of course, I set the period to auto-enter. I am working with the same period a hundred times so I set it as default. If it has to give error if the period is set to auto-enter, could you at least make that when the error message comes up I should be able to click OK and then go back to select a child without the entire program shutting down?

Period need to be set a s default not thru the grid. There is a different place to set it. Call support to help you.

I don't want next year's period should be default for everything I am doing - only for entering new classes on this grid.

So you would need to enter the period manually.

You must probably have set by mistake the grid should enter the period auto. Remove it and this message will go away,

No. You will gain nothing. You just need to remove that setting.
