Ignore a payment

Is there any way i can ignore a payment ?

By deleting it or changing the amount to zero. Payments are meant to be used as a record that something has been paid off. If its not paying off anything then it shouldn't be entered.

I have a grandfather that paid tuition for his grandchild cause he took responsibility for the payments but he doesn't want that the parents should  know the he paid already cause he really wants that they should pay it and he wants that the parents should receive a statement with out his payments .
