In Mass Update Tab: 'Copy Info to New Bus': How does the 'copy students' & 'copy corner stops' work?

Corner stops are entered in Bus routes, 'designated stop'.  Can i assume 'copy corner stops' refers to 'designated stop' indicated in the original route?  Please clarify how each button works.  Thank you.

You Can do one bus at a time

1) Select the bus to copy from

2) Select The bus to copy to

3) Select Copy Corner Stops
